Artist's Profile

Artist Nancy Landt lives in Idaho, in a rural area which abounds with wildlife and country scenery. This is a constant source of inspiration for her, but her work reaches past that to explore the multicolored and shaded fabric of life as she sees it.

As a graduate of Paier College of Art, she was taught the craft of drawing and painting, but only within the last 11 years has she felt the spirit and freedom which occurs when painting what she feels as well as sees.

These paintings are reflections of the people, places and creatures around her, often painted on century old wood or native slab boards cut from fallen logs in the deep woods of Idaho.
